- Do you work with digital cameras? [back
to top]
No, currently we work with medium format cameras
and analogue film material.
- What are medium format cameras
and which advantages do they offer? [back
to top]
Medium format cameras work with a 60 mm film. The exposed surface is approximately 4.5 times bigger than with the commonly used small image film (35 mm film).
The difference can be easily seen in the following graphic.

The resolution of such a film material is a lot better than the resolution of
current digital cameras.
A scanned medium format image (6x7 cm) has the enormous
resolution of approximately 98 mega pixels. (Current digital cameras offer up
to 14 megapixels.)
- As a customer, can I also
get the photos I order as digital data on a CD or a DVD? [back
to top]
Of course you can get your photos also on a CD or a DVD.
The film material
will be digitalised individually by a professional film scanning machine.
A scanned medium format photo will have the enormous resolution of approximately
98 mega pixels, which enables the printing of large format calendars and
posters.
- Which is the maximum resolution
these photos can have? [back
to top]
The film material will be scanned at 4,000 dpi using a professional film
scanning machine, so that by using a medium format film a resolution of
approximately 98 mega pixels will be reached.
- Will I receive paper photos
with every order? [back
to top]
Photos will only be developed, if requested by the customer.
A separate order is not necessary.
- Up to which size do you
deliver paper photos? [back to
top]
At the moment we can deliver paper photos in a maximum size of 75 x 50
cm.
Bigger photos can potentially be realized as a printing job.
We will be happy to consult you in regards to printing jobs.
.
- Will the photos be individually
optimised or are they processed by an automated laboratory? [back to top]
The photos will all be individually scanned and colour optimised.
From this digital data, a specialised photo laboratory created the digital
paper photos by exposing the data with laser onto photo paper.
- Which copy rights does the
customer receive regarding the photos? [back
to top]
Every customer received the right to use the photos in relation to his
name, company, products, and fireworks.
This includes the right of reproduction for the purchased images.
However, passing on the images to third parties, such as photo agencies
and postcard publishing houses, is prohibited.
Advanced user rights are possible after consultation.
- Will photos be sold to further
customers or companies? [back to top]
No, every customer receives his photos exclusively. Passing on photos to
third parties is potentially feasible only after consulting the photo owner.
Merely we reserve the right for ourselves to use and to distribute images
for marketing material for marketing our own services.
