    No, currently we work with medium format cameras and analogue film material.

  • What are medium format cameras and which advantages do they offer? [back to top]

    Medium format cameras work with a 60 mm film. The exposed surface is approximately 4.5 times bigger than with the commonly used small image film (35 mm film).
    The difference can be easily seen in the following graphic.


    The resolution of such a film material is a lot better than the resolution of current digital cameras.
    A scanned medium format image (6x7 cm) has the enormous resolution of approximately 98 mega pixels. (Current digital cameras offer up to 14 megapixels.)

  • As a customer, can I also get the photos I order as digital data on a CD or a DVD? [back to top]

    Of course you can get your photos also on a CD or a DVD.
    The film material will be digitalised individually by a professional film scanning machine. A scanned medium format photo will have the enormous resolution of approximately 98 mega pixels, which enables the printing of large format calendars and posters.

  • Which is the maximum resolution these photos can have? [back to top]

    The film material will be scanned at 4,000 dpi using a professional film scanning machine, so that by using a medium format film a resolution of approximately 98 mega pixels will be reached.

  • Will I receive paper photos with every order? [back to top]

    Photos will only be developed, if requested by the customer.
    A separate order is not necessary.

  • Up to which size do you deliver paper photos? [back to top]

    At the moment we can deliver paper photos in a maximum size of 75 x 50 cm.
    Bigger photos can potentially be realized as a printing job.
    We will be happy to consult you in regards to printing jobs. .

  • Will the photos be individually optimised or are they processed by an automated laboratory? [back to top]

    The photos will all be individually scanned and colour optimised.
    From this digital data, a specialised photo laboratory created the digital paper photos by exposing the data with laser onto photo paper.

  • Which copy rights does the customer receive regarding the photos? [back to top]

    Every customer received the right to use the photos in relation to his name, company, products, and fireworks.
    This includes the right of reproduction for the purchased images.
    However, passing on the images to third parties, such as photo agencies and postcard publishing houses, is prohibited.
    Advanced user rights are possible after consultation.

  • Will photos be sold to further customers or companies? [back to top]

    No, every customer receives his photos exclusively. Passing on photos to third parties is potentially feasible only after consulting the photo owner.
    Merely we reserve the right for ourselves to use and to distribute images for marketing material for marketing our own services.
